We have configured a new forum for all xGPS users in order they can discuss about problems, solutions and improvement that can be made in xGPS. We will try to read as much as possible this forum to answer the most recurrent questions.

We are also aware of the problems that the current xGPS version has with the current position and with the need to enter the complete address for driving directions. We are working to correct that.

Hi, I am living in Denmark.
I tried to use xgps to navi, but danish has three special letters which are æ å ø.
I have downloaded the copenhagen map. when i tried to input some address like nørreport, it pops up a error msg said cannot compute this driving direction.
I have tried to change the GUI language to danish and use danish input but it seems not working. But it can still search the correct route without these three letters.
Or is it because the map from google which I downloaded doesn’t supoort danish?
does anyone know how to fix it?
Or I need add the some danish language pack into the xgps folder? and how?

Hi, thank you for your hard works.
I’m a iPhone 3G user from China, i found a problem when i use it.
I can’t location myself exactally on google map but satellate location seens very exactally.
It just can not put you on right position.
When i stand on my yard, it shows me i was on the street nearby, can not match with satellate map.
So, could you please provide a function to reposition, like a palm or wm device to reposition their screen.

Hello…ok lets say that there is a slight improvement in this version…unfortunately speed meter still not working properly…the idea of downloading maps and using Google maps is not good at all ( there is no details in Google maps for small streets and i get alot of errors during downloading big maps)…I have been using other softwares on my pocket pc and they are working very good…why not using the same idea of these softwares ( fixed maps for each country)…anyway this really a good try and we hope to have more improvements soon…regards

The application seems to work great. I really like the way it gives the direction I’m going, my current speed, as well as the great interface. In addition to the problems listed in the post I also have the problem of the program telling me that I’m going in the wrong direction even though I’m not. After driving for a little the program usually corrects itself and removes the “wrong direction” message. This problem looks like it could be fixed by simply giving the program a greater tolerance to accommodate the inaccurate GPS in the iPhone 3g. Thanks for the great program, keep up the good work.
