Due to Google Maps internal changes, we have to release another small bug fix update tagged 1.0.1-6. It correct all the gray maps problem some of you have. It is the only change from the last version.

xGOPS on my IPhone is working quite good.
Please, I need some help….
Yesterday night I entered Manage Maps, and started Downloading my citys map. It warned that it would be a 82Mb file size, and started downloading.
At morning, the message : Maps were downloaded successfully, but the settings screen says that there’s only 8.8 Mb of cache maps.
I Tried it again at lunch, but got the same thing.
Also, I was testing xGPS while driving, and the speed is shown completely crazy. I was going about 60 Km/h, and it was showing 57-63 (ok, good, but…), suddenly, it jumps to 97, 35, 66, etc….
For the “Manage Maps” thing, it is a known bug and will be corrected in the next release.
Concerning the speed issue, are you using iPhone 3G Internal GPS? Because it is very imprecise and that’s why the speed goes crazy. It seems that iPhone firmware 2.2 solve this issue so if you can upgrade to 2.2, upgrade it because next xGPS release will use the improvement.
