The store is open…

We have finally re-opened our store in order to buy xGPS License number to use with the iGPSD cable. We are very sorry for the problems we had. Now it is fully working and you can buy your license numbers from our store:

We have also released a small bug fix version of xGPS which correct the license input problem some of you have encountered and add the Hebrew language to the program.

For the Hebrew translation, we would like to thank Gal Brill.

    Nice done, work really well with iGPSD cable and Holux GPSlim 236 !
    I have a question, is it possible xGPS software as a option could update standard location service with GPS position as it was done with pin point hack for Maps application ? It would be great for iphone v1 and touch users because standard application like Photo, Maps,… could also benefit from accurate position.

    No it is not possible as it would require to know system-level details about the iPhone which we don’t have. The hack for the Maps application is really dirty and will not work for any other applications.

    Yes you can. You have to buy an iGPSD cable and a compatible Holux GPS device. Then it will work.

    Sure it is compatible with iPhone 3G. It will not be on the AppStore as it doesn’t fulfill the Apple NDA.

    If there is map shown on the screen, try to search for a place and then it should work. Notice that you have to have an Internet connection for the first launch.

    Hi,

    I’m using your software, and it works works great. I have one issue though, it is impossible to download a map over 50mb. XGPS returns to springboard after a few minutes, leaving the download unfinished.
    Is there any fix for that?
