Shipping delays

Unfortunately there are never only good news. We are experiencing some shipping delay due to a late shipment from our suppliers and some delay on the production line. First orders have been shipped today (Tuesday 26th August 2008). Some others will be shipped later on the afternoon. You will receive a shipment confirmation email when your order has been shipped. The current delay should be about one week (5 working days). We are very sorry for that. We are working day and night to make up for lost time.

Concerning the software we are making our best effort to try to release a very first alpha version with minimal features on the first of September. We cannot say more now, we simply don’t know more :-) .

Again, we are very sorry for the encountered delays. Thank you to be patient.

    hi,
    i’ve just received mine.
    it’s written about the firmware 2.02 jailbreak, can i even use the module with the 1.1.4 fitmware?
    It’s also written about the software on cydia but is it different from this one already available on installer for 1.1.4 firmware (the xgps 1.0p1)?
    thank you, i’m very impatient of using it.

    First, the software currently available on the Installer called (xGPS 1.0p1) is NOT compatible with the xGPS module. We are making our best effort to make a new version for Monday. This new version will be compatible ONLY with firmware 2.x! There will be no software with map on the firmwares 1.x. In the mean time, you can follow the instruction which come along with your order to install a small software to the gps (xGPS Util). This software is both available for 1.1.4 firmware and 2.x. A more detailed user guide will appear soon.

    i can’t find it with cydia on 1.1.4 as we can’t add new sources.
    If there is a special way to have it please tell me.

    We will add the 1.1.4 version of xGPS Util into our Installer v3 repository shortly. But consider upgrading your iPhone or iPod Touch to 2.0, it is better.
